The Man of Sin
Take a look at these amazing pictures showing the man of sin that Paul describes in Thessalonians.
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 ... 'Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.'
Pope Benedict sitting on a great white throne between two golden Cherubim, as if he were God himself. Who but the antichrist would do this?
Now there is something else we need to see from Thessalonians above. Paul calls the antichrist "the son of perdition". Did you know that name is only found one other time in the Bible? Do you know who else was called "the son of perdition"?
John 17:12 ...'While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.'
It was Judas!
So Paul has purposely called the man of sin "the son of perdition" so that we would know that the antichrist would have been ONE OF US!! The antichrist would be just like Judas, someone who was in the church, but a deceiver who would turn against Christ Jesus. And this ties in perfectly with what John said about antichrist.
1 John 2:18-19 ...'Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. THEY WENT OUT FROM US, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.'
Do you see? Antichrist would be someone who was ONE OF US, who would go OUT FROM US. In other words, it would be someone who is WITHIN THE "CHURCH". Now this proves that the antichrist CANNOT be Islam, because Islam was never part of the Church and it CANNOT be a future political leader, because again, it is someone who is "in the church".
So who DOES fit this rule? The Pope of the Roman Catholic Church. But you say the man of sin is ONE man, it cannot be all the popes throughout history. Well, in the Old Testament, the Bible talks about THE HIGH PRIEST who would go into the most holy place once a year, and ONLY HE would be allowed to enter. Did this signify ONE man? No, it covered ALL the successive high priests throughout time. So there is no problem with the man of sin being attributed to the successive popes.

When you look at this with open eyes, there can be NO DOUBT that the Bible antichrist, that man of sin, the son of perdition is none other than the Pope of the Roman Catholic Church. It's a perfect match, and no other man, religion, or power can match the little horn, the sea beast of Revelation and the Whore of Babylon as perfectly as the Papal Church.
Islam CANNOT fit with the man of sin, and neither can a future political leader fit with this. ONLY the Pope of the Roman Catholic Church can fit with the Bible description of the man of sin!
